[STEP 1] Talk about mountains in Korea.

70% of our country is covered in mountains. 
There are famous mountains all over the country. 
They are popular as vacation spots and camping spots. 
Apart from such famous mountains, there are usually smaller mountains close by. 
Because mountains are so common, many people like to go hiking. 
The mountains are beautiful all year long, but especially in the autumn and winter. 
When the leaves change color in the fall, it's a beautiful sight. 
When it snows in the winter, the snow-covered mountains are picture-perfect.
 
1. vacation spot  휴가지
Mountains are popular as vacation spots.
I don't like famous vacation spots because they are too crowded.
We've already chosen a vacation spot to go to this summer.

2. all year long  일 년 내내
The mountains are beautiful all year long.
Korea is a great place to visit all year long.
I studied all year long to take this test.
 
3. picture-perfect  (모습이) 완벽한
When it snows in the winter, the snow-covered mountains are picture-perfect.
Everything has to be picture-perfect for this presentation.
It was picture-perfect spring weather.



[STEP 2] Talk about the last time you went hiking to a mountain.

There is a small mountain not far from my house. 
There are two hiking trails, and it's a 40-minute trek to the top. 
In the past, I didn't get the appeal of hiking. 
But once I started hiking and went several times, I found it has many merits. 
You can get a breath of fresh air and it's a good workout, so you feel healthy afterward. 
I also like that I can listen to music as I hike and get lost in my thoughts. 
It was the perfect weather for hiking when I went last weekend. 
When I came back down, I felt rejuvenated and refreshed.
 
1. get the appeal of  ~의 매력을 느끼다
In the past, I didn't get the appeal of hiking.
I don't really get the appeal of that actor.
I didn't get the appeal of the city until I visited last year.
 
2. get a breath of fresh air  맑은 공기를 마시다
You can get a breath of fresh air, so you feel healthy afterward.
Getting a breath of fresh air helps wake me up when I'm tired.
We went camping last weekend to get a breath of fresh air.
 
3. get lost in one's thoughts  생각에 잠기다
I also like that I can listen to music as I hike and get lost in my thoughts.
I like to take long walks and get lost in my thoughts.
It's easy to get lost in your thoughts when you're alone.
