Talk about the flu.

 

The flu is a disease caused by the influenza virus. Unlike the common cold, it can cause severe symptoms. Patients can also developed complications, like pneumonia. There are three types of flu : types A, B and C. Patients are infected through the respiratory system, including the nose or mouth. Flu patients run a high fever. It can make day-to-day life difficult. Bronchitis makes it hard to speak. The flu is especially dangerous for children and people over 65 years old. Sometimes, it can even be life threatening.

Talk about  flu shots.

 

It's best to get a flu shot during October or November. The flu goes around from December until April the next year. It takes about two weeks to form antibodies after getting a flu shot. Immunity lasts about six months on average, but it differs from person to person. If you get a flu shot too early, the antibodies might be weak by the next year. you could fall ill. If you get the shot too late, you could get infected before antibodies get a chance to form. Women who are expecting, children, and the elderly are advised to get their shots first. Flu shots are also a must for patients with lung or heart issues, or chronic illnesses.
